You can apply for a Teen Checking Account in person at any branch. Logix membership is required.

No, your teen doesn’t need to be a member to open a Teen Checking Account. The parent or guardian on the account must be a member.

Not a member yet? You can join Logix when you open your teen’s checking account in a branch, or by establishing your own separate membership. Becoming a Logix member is fast and easy!

Teen Checking Accounts are exclusively designed for teens aged 13 – 17, with a parent or guardian as a joint owner on the account.

Yes, the Teen Checking Account is a joint checking account, and a parent or guardian must be present to sign as a joint account holder on the account.

To open a Teen Checking Account, you will need the following:

  • Adult’s Unexpired U.S. Government-issued Photo ID
  • Teen’s Identification (one of the following):
    • Photo ID (school or government-issued)
    • Birth Certificate
    • Social Security Card
    • Parent Endorsement (parent must be an established Logix member)

No! There is no monthly service charge for members aged 13 – 17 years old who have a Teen Checking Account.

Teens may be able to add their Logix Debit Mastercard® to a digital wallet, depending on the wallet provider’s age and parental consent requirements. Each digital wallet provider has its own eligibility rules, so we recommend checking with the provider to confirm availability.
