You May Be Eligible for a Down Payment Grant
Don’t Miss This Opportunity If you're planning to buy in CA, AZ, or NV, now is the time to explore your options. Funding is limited and subject to availability
The Middle-Income Down Payment Assistance (MDPA) Program is a down payment and closing cost assistance matching grant program for qualified first-time homebuyers. Must be first-time homebuyer according to US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) definition. Homebuyer must contribute a minimum of $10,000 from savings or gifted funds to qualify for a grant of up to $50,000. Program income eligibility requires the homebuyer household to have earnings between 80.01% and 140% of Area Median Income (AMI), based on purchase property address and adjusted for household size. To qualify, participant must purchase an eligible property as a primary residence in Arizona, California, or Nevada, and complete a homebuyer counseling program provided by an experienced organization. Escrow must be opened on home purchase transaction and closing scheduled within 30 days before Logix Federal Credit Union can request Program funds. Funds are limited and must meet Program eligibility guidelines as published by FHLBank San Francisco. For 2026, FHLBank San Francisco has allocated $11 Million for the MDPA Program on a first come, first served basis until Program funds are exhausted. Enrollment in the MDPA Program does not guarantee the homebuyer receipt of Program funds. Available grant funds may be exhausted at any time; until FHLBank San Francisco specifically acknowledges that funds have been assigned to the recipient, there is no assurance that funds will be available. Logix Federal Credit Union does not guarantee the availability of MDPA Program Funds.
Logix Federal Credit Union’s participation as a member financial institution in the Middle-Income Down Payment Assistance Program is contingent upon the acceptance of our application by FHLBank San Francisco. Confirmation of acceptance is expected in March 2026. Upon approval of our application, the Middle-Income Down Payment Assistance Program will become available to eligible and qualified borrowers.
